the top looks pretty identical but hull has different sides the yellow one is smooth and red one is faceted has a center line between the chine and gunnel

Those are two very different boats.
The red boat has a crease running along the topsides and only two strakes below the chine.
IMO the red boat is an much older model Pride.
As for performance, take it for a run.
The yellow one is an 80's model, but is a 21
Pride, Bertram and Carribean were all under the banner of International Marine at Scoresby in Victoria. At the time the red boat was made Bertram were not making trailer boats. The 25 was their smallest. The red boat could be a Pride or a Carribean.

They are both Pride Presidents or Caribbean Commodores. The red is the older hull and was produced between 1971 and 1978. The hull was apparently changed in 1978 to the smooth sides and a deeper V. The red hull will have 18 degrees at the transom and the yellow 21 and the red will be lighter.
Again all info from Jeff Webster and may not be 100% accurate but it will be pretty close.
Remember to always log on before heading offshore.
I had a Caribbean Commorore and it was designated 205,... 20.5 Ft.
From reading this thread + Websters + old pics + old memory it was a pre 1978 model with the crease on the sides & only 2 full strakes.
That would make it the same as the red one.
TBH it was a bit of a dog.
It used to bang a bit, broach a bit, wander a bit (sterndrive) and the ergonomics were shocking.
Back then if you rang International with the serial number they would fax you a full build sheet.

I am looking at taking all the top sides off and create a centre cab full walk around so only need a hull with good bones as it will be getting a paint job all over, Cheers
Something isn't right. The yellow boat appears to sport decals saying 20.5 and President making it a Pride President but the Pride President/Caribbean Commodore both have 2 front windows, not 3. The 3 front windows with the steeper rake angle belong to the Caribbean Baron (Pride Montego) which is about 18.5ft and was arguably the first Australian built bow rider (of sorts). The Baron has space forward of the windows for 2 people to sit in a dedicated 2 seat recess.
They both have two front windows, put your glasses on BM.

The yellow one has 3 windows. Only 2 are visible in the image though. But you can tell there are 3. The window closest to the camera rakes back toward the stern and the next window is flat, ergo, a third window. If you look up the Caribbean Baron you will see what I mean. Also the rake angle of the windows is very different between the Baron/Montego and the Commodore/President.
Google image both boats and you will see what I am on about.
I think the yellow one has the hatch open mate.
You can see its closed because you can see the perspex window and if you look close you can also see the downward slope of the fibreglass on the port side (which matches the starboard side).
The red boat isn't an offshore boat. It will pound you and itself to death.
The yellow boat is much better for offshore use. More comparable to a 213C Haines or 625 Seametre (which was later built by Cruise Craft but was far inferior in build- the original is a Sherman tank).
