VMR Brisbane Open Day 20th September 2015 - Emergency and Community Services Day

Hi Folks. VMR Brisbane (Shorncliffe) will have their open day on the 20th September starting at 9am at 95 Allpass Pde, Shorncliffe. This is a traditional day that see the opening of the 2015/16 sailing season of Sandgate Yacht Club, and also incorporates the the opening of the summer boating season for VMR Brisbane.

There will be plenty of stuff to see, and you can chat with Water Police, VMR and Coast Guard, have a look at the rescue boats and facilities. Boating and Fisheries will be there and there will be various rescue displays from other rescue organisations. If you have a boat on the water, you can decorate it and join the sail past. There will also be a sausage sizzle.

Most importantly, the bar will be open for refreshments!! Bar will open at noon and will close late.
