When possible I had the kids out on the Broadwater mainly around Ephraim and Sovereign Islands chasing fish over the school holidays. Good variety of species around with Whiting, Flathead, Flounder, Bream, Pike, Tailor, Trevally, Tarpon, Jew, Kingfish and Moses Perch all making an appearance. Best flathead session on plastics produced over 30 fish mainly between 40-60cm. Kids liked making the videos so here are a couple.
Also found a few Kings in the Seaway one afternoon smashing schools of small Oceanic Queenfish. They were locked on eating the Queenies and refused nearly every offering being thrown at them, however, I did manage to get two take a popper and landed one of them.
