HI Folks I'm heading up to the Sandy Straits for a few days in a couple of weeks.Am asking is there Yabbie banks in this area as on Google Earth looks pretty shallow and lots of sand banks.Any help appreciated..Thanks Paul...
Mate, if you're going out from Tuan, the channel from the ramp goes pretty much parallel to the beach for a couple of hundred metres then does a big ubolt around to the right so it's once again parallel to the beach. Just before this bends around to the left, there are good yabby banks on the RHS. Have to slop thorugh some mud sometimes to find the sand but you will get them in this spot. Also some straight out from the ramp at Maaroom.
