I kind of think the last 20 is what cost the game, no field goal attempt, failing to find touch, dropped ball, field goal attempt by the wrong player and so it went, Gus Gould was near having a mini stroke in the commentary box, up until then it was going to go either way, Queensland (as usual) play until full time, not clock off and start packing up to go for a shower.

I just wish commentators would man up and realise that despite all their protests about being impartial, they aren't. The vast majority of the game is discussed from what has to happen for NSW to win. So the comments from Gould and Warren concern how NSW lost the game, and while there are occasional attempts to discuss the game from all views, the general call revolves around how the nsw players are going. So, for example, "there is only one team playing out there." Well no, not true, but NSW were only playing as well as qld let them. Of course, until they come to terms with their bias, they'll keep losing origin, because they don't understand why they sh-t us off so much.

Yep qld won, but honestly look at the teams on paper Qld should beat Nsw by 20 plus every game, but they dont cause we got more heart.

Except for the last 15 mins or so when NSW found 20 new ways to lose a game, it was an each way bet, both sides defended well, attack was limited by the solid defense, not too sure Inglis is going all that well, injury? Out of position? defense awake to him? Perhaps Slater is going to the Gallen school of grubbery, after the elbow flop on Morris's back, all in all, the better team one, not much bad refereeing to complain about either.

Straight away i thought about the outcry there would have been if that was Slater's back copping the elbow from a Bird or Gallen.

At least these days he no longer goes into tackles feet first LOL.
