Got a hot tip for you- leaf blower on idle behind you, full respiration mask and tyvek jump suit. Use a car jack to keep transducer in place until nut is tight.

Just make sure the jack doesn't place pressure on the face of the transducer. Block of wood across the face probably a good idea

And make sure you have transducer line pointing at keel not running in line with keel like one numb nuts I know. Sounder would never read properly (obviously) and I had, I mean he had to reinstall. Massive pita. Do it right first time

Is the hull a little concave in the transducer position?

Hi mull dog I shall pay close attention to that I would have imagined it to be frustrating to move it again

Just wondering mate, I'd dry fit it & pull it up tight to see how it sits before getting the goop out.
Have you found anyone else who has fitted one to the same boat?

Looks good. Give the surface a good clean with metho but do not use any to actually clean up the sika. Polyurethanes are affected by alcohol and will remain sticky if brought into contact while still wet. Just make sure it is dry before applying the goop.
