Noosa Not So Wide 10/5/15

Took the boat for a run in the river trying to get the last of the gunk in the petrol out. Get it bow high on take off, do a sprint, & then drain the goo out of the water separator. Did it about 10 times today & got a further 250ml of crap out, so slowly getting on top of it.

Wasn't even going to try fishing, but Juna insisted. 1st drift she got monstered, so back over again, & her first coral trout, going 4.2kg

Gave her the bug, so back over she goes again, with a mixed bag coming on board. Only fished for about 2 hours in magnificent conditions.

Yes, it was Junas trout, as was the squire, the scarlet sea perch & the spotty, but the maori & the grassy were mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We work as a team. I put bait down to act like berley so she catches the bulk & I get the privilege of cleaning her fish?????????????

I sent a few pics off yesterday Mick while we were still out, & they all had a dig at me being outfished, AGAIN!!

I rang a mate who's a charter skipper because I didn't know the size limit on the sea perch, or nannygai, & he told me 38cm, but I told him Junas was 50cm. He asked did she catch the trout as well?? Obviously!

He then said I should fish less & spend some time observing Junas technique & I might start getting some pointers.

Easy, I hung up on him!!
