    garmin 751 xs poor chirp performance

    Hi all first time post on this site , just looking for some help with my garmin sounder currently running 751 xs with a tm 150 transducer and iam not that impressed with it shows lots of interfearance under way and really isnt that clear , if it wasn"t for the furuno 587 on board i don't think i'd find any fish !. i really like the garmin and want to get the most out of it and particuly the chirp so is there any settings etc that i'am missing ; also running the echomap 70s with down and sidescan , any help would be appreciated .

    Take a picture of your transducer setup?

    make sure we get a rear and side view...I have a customer ring the same garmin setup and a 1kw HDS10 the garmin is way outperforming the HDS

    There is a few settings that do help in the advanced section
    happy days ahead summer is coming

    Hi mate cheers for the invite but Iam on the west coast , I've moved the transducer but haven't water tested it yet will try to get out in the next week and post results
