Wow - what an idiot. Just how exactly does he think you can use this $400 bucks worth of contaminated fuel? I wouldn't put that shit through my lawnmower.
Wow there is a lot of crap in that bucket. I agree you have to be very careful. I found this crap in my 10lt portable tank after three trips from buying brand new. I check it every time now.
The hide of the retailer. I am sure my brother had a similar situation from up that way as well.
Hope that works. I can see it both times. This is from a portable tank. There is a filter on the Honda 20hp but it is only small and this probably would have filled it. There was nothing on my little 15hp Johno. Don't know if it would have stopped it though being a carby
I just purchased one of these (Mr Funnel F15 funnel) filters but before I did I spoke with the guys at Mr Funnel who advised that they are really slow at the pump depending on the amount of air in the bowser. He advised that it's got air in it on purpose and therefore filling from a jerry is preferred. Also suggested that using the filter as perhaps a test sample might be the go, and if after filling one or two Jerry's have no sign of water then you could trust filling up without it. Not a bad idea... BTW we found water in the fuel filter whilst servicing hence why I've gone out and brought one. I guess it could have also been from condensation..
Can anyone recommend a 20litre Jerry can that doesn't leak when pouring. The one's I've got and used leak at the thread between the spout and the can. Guess I could use plumbing tape or similar? Is there preferred brand that you use?
