Double Island Lagoon

Hi guys could someone please tell me about the lagoon I am thinking about doing an overnighter from Rainbow and was wondering if you can get in there at all tides I have a 5.7m alloy half cab and is it ok in most conditions thanks Shaun.

Mate u should be able to get in. This area is used by yachties to overnight then cross the bar the next morning

I kite surf there regularly, it's changed a heck of a lot recently. Don't try it at night on a low tide!

Hi Shaun.

Last time I was up there in January, the entrance in was real shallow. We were dragging the tinnies through on all but the very top of the tide.
A lot changes in three months on the beach though.
