I didn't end up going. Promised the misses months ago that I would go with the father inlaw into town for the 100th Anzac parade.
Something I completely forgot about last week.
Was a great day, something I'd never done before.
My fishing career would have been over if I had missed that one

Just friday and anchored off sykes friday night but the red throat were in plague proportions there on Saturday morning so we worked our back down in the deeper water and pulled the pin about lunch time for the drive home.
Looks like a successful trip boys congrats can I ask is there markers like musgrave going into Fitzroy? Sorry to ask on this thread but you guys know your stuff up there

Yes mate, there are beacons into the lagoon. I reckon it's still best to make a track on your gps in good daylight if you plan coming in around dark.
