    Garmin GPS Aerial needed

Good evening folks - long time since posted, good to read plenty of activity around the waters!
I thought I would post a query here due to the wealth of expertise on the site combined with the run around I am getting over the phone.

I have a Garmin GPSMAP555 chartplotter in my cc and recently did some mods to the console. Thought about everything and was pleased with the outcome EXCEPT I did not take into account loss of satellite reception.
Hence I am trying to source an external antenna locally (anywhere in Aust for that matter). I believe it is a GA29 BNC connection but these have now been upgraded to a GA30?

I would truly appreciate any advice on product compatibility and where I could access before looking overseas.

    Any suggestions all gratefully received!
    Cheers,
    Troy

    Hi Scroman
Give these guys a call they are pretty good
    http://trymax.com.au/contact/

Also I have a Garmin 750s that uses a lowrance antennae so they are probably interchangeable but I would give trymax a call and see if they can help you.
    Cheers Hunter
