Mate it's the line weight recommended for the rod
When rod manufacturers have a weight size on them as above what does that mean...and why such a gap big diff between 6 and 10 kg's...
Mate it's the line weight recommended for the rod
New jack rod hey i like the 6 to 10kg and 8 to 15 kg range for live baiting ....any heavier and they dont have the action in the tip to see the bait swimming ...solid glass tip ...quality guides ....
Are you bugging my house???
That's exactly what its for!!
Its a shimano starlo classix.
looks like a nice rod....what reel ?
You reckon 6-10kg is a big gap difference. I have an 8-30kg Texalium!
66, Ive got a penn slammer to go on it...
ok so 10kg=22ib line... whats the drama if I spool it with 30 or 40lb line will the rod break before the line??
I'd have called it for the drag setting if that were the case.
Not so much line but drag as phantom phished said I have a light jig rod that stats know more than 6kg drag
happy days ahead summer is coming
I call it for line weight not drag rating. Check out nitro dominator extreme rods, I turned a lot of the swamp donkeys with that rod. you've seen the pics, up to 20kg. the rods are rated 6-8kg, I loaded it with 5olb braid but that was because I wanted the abrasion resistance while fishing in heavy cover.
Just on new rods, is there anything you can coat cork grips with? i was going to go with the clear lacquer but is that defeating the purpose...just want to keep em nice and clean..
Give yaself an uppercut!!! What with the new signature?
im gonna change my name .....
I can be just as crazy as you mate...
