    Garmin chirp. M265c-LH v B275c-LHW

    Hello,
I am seeking some help, I am nearing the end of my sharkcat rebuild, now looking at the electronics, I currently have a garmin 7212, gsd 24 and a m260 to put on the boat, I am now thinking of installing a chirp system, gsd26 and either a m265c LH which would fit in the boot of the m260 or the B275-LHW. Can you help me, I will be fishing the gold coast reefs out to the 36ers and up around Bribie Island way, mostly bottom bash, bit of trolling. If there is a better transducer for what I will be doing can you tell me please.

Thankyou in advance for your help.
    Doug.

Doug, you are better off going with the new GSD 25 and a Airmar B175M Bronze Thru Hull 0' Tilt (85-135kHz) 1kW. These transducer are giving great performance.

Have you got it wet yet

    Thankyou for the info Moose,
Garry, NO not yet, last 3 R+R's I had to work on a house, due home again late next week and should have 4-5 days to finish off the inside and all going well get it wet the swing after that. Will let you know how the props went. Thankyou for your help with the motors, both running sweet, still got to work out the tie bar between the two but I'll get there..

    Moose,
Thanks for your answer, I have the opportunity to get a R111LH tranducer from the states very cheap through someone I know. Considering the depth I will be fishing, around the Gold Coast/Brisbane area, would this be of use to me especially the High elements. I take it that if I was going to spend the money the 275w would be a better buy than the 175.
