    buying a second hand ob

    hey guys, looking for a second hand ob in the 70-90 range, would love a 4s but a 2 will be fine also. any ideas where to start looking other than gumtree/ebay?

    alot of your local boat dealer / boat yard will have 2nd hand motors, otherwise F70 yamaha go for about 7-10k nowday with fitted.. well that brissy yamaha... othewise it get cheaper with etech and all too... but if your budget is lower then 10k for instant... it sometime is cheaper trying / neg to get a motor off a 2nd boat that on sale from boatpoint.com...

    Hard HP to find second hand, anything from around 70-150 is not too common, try all the local dealers are see what they have.

    have to agree with mitc, these days a engine alone will sell for what a boat,trailer and engine sells for its just a bit of a piss around getting what u want from the deal and selling the rest

    Mark,

    I know of a second hand Suzuki df90A going for around $8500.00 negotiable think its 2011/12 under 200 hrs could be more like 120. A mate of mine is looking to upgrade to 115s.
