    Pine Mixed Bag

Headed to the Pine with the intention of getting some live prawns for bait and then trying to find a flathead or two at the mouth. First part went well with more than enough prawns for my purposes. Headed to the mouth but there was a huge amount of floating weed which made it unfishable. Tried a couple of other likely spots but only managed the one keeper bream and a host of throw backs. Crabs saved the day and ended with a very nice feed.

Nice work mate, that's a good quality muddie! I'd take a fresh feed of prawns and crab over some flatty everyday of the week!!!!

Shouldn't be long till the fish follow the bait into the creek though!

    Cheers

    Thanks for all the replies.

I might use that one Blooey, it probably a good definition of my normal fishing results.

Good luck to everyone heading out, hopefully worming and beach fishing for me this weekend.
