Thread: What's your Easter plans ?

  1. #1

Question What's your Easter plans ?

What are you people up to fishing wise, over Easter. ?

More importantly, what influences your decisions. ?

I usually do not fish as there are way too many people on the water, roads and boat ramps. Having said that, last year the weather turned amazing and a last minute dash to 1770 ensured and a good time was had by all.

Normally my family head to Rainbow beach, but this year there are so many different things happening (parents and sister are heading overseas mid April, my first child due end of March) that we have had to can the camping for this year. Once the wife has recovered I will take them away camping.

looks good Dale...............Just hope there is some water on the plains.........been a very dry affair up here this year.

Easter for me will be waiting at home for everyone to do their thing............Too many people for my liking also.
Easter weekend brings them out of the woodwork here..........every one that owns a boat wants to be out on the water.........safer to stay at home.

I was hoping that last Cyclone unloaded, but it didn't seem to. I have a new Grandson at Howard Springs that I haven't met yet so we'll be spending most of our time there. Having two days around Carmor though.

Get home early Thursday, lock the gate and don't leave the property until I'm heading for work Tuesday morning. The roads and any place worth going, are chaos over easter.

Although I might take the esky and the deck deck chair down to the local boat ramp for an interesting interlude if I get game enough to unlock the gate.

Might go down to the local boat ramp and offer advise and instruction on how to do things. Oh and hand out some Easter eggs to people that get it right,. 3 or 4 Easter eggs should be enough.

Sailing, fishing, drinking and eating in Finga (where is that old bugga, have not heard from him in a while) country. Will be at Leslie Dam at Warwick, staying at the sailing club for our fledgling Easter regatta.
