    ID thanks guys

    Brother in law sent me an image tonight of a fish my nephew caught in the Nerang River. He reckons it was just above the fresh??
    Any ideas??

    Thats what I first thought, not that I have ever seen one, as I hear they are rare on the Hards, so I looked in Grants & there is only one image & it doesn't look right??

    Can't wait to tell my BIL he's up for a 200K fine!! LOL

    Definitely a Tilapia, I'd be reporting where it was caught to fisheries.

    Hopefully not an escapee from Hinze Dam !!

    i went for a fish at Rialto lake yesterday which is just near sorento island and i would have seen about 10 tilapia sitting around the edges.. not good at all
    dont knock on deaths door... ring the doorbell and run... death hates that!!

    after a day I had today mate I think I might have to come up there and catch some hussar,very quiet to say the least then back in the bay to find 5 pots gone....
