    Yamaha f60 prop

Hey guys I've got a yammie f60 2008 model, it sits behind a seajay 455 tropic. Im after a new prop as the current one has a few dings. I can't find any sizing stamped on it, so I'm guessing it 's the original prop ( only 300 hrs on motor). I'm having trouble finding the size of the standard prop, just wondering if any one would know the size? If not any suggestions ?

    Thanks Rhys

    Should about a 13 pitch.

I have a 2007 model F60 on a Stessl Angler 435. Have always run alloy props (11 1/8 x 13-G). I get them from the guys at Stones Corner Marine - they have always looked after me with regards price. I also seem to knock them around fairly quickly trolling in shallow water and chasing crabs up in skinny creeks.

    cheers

I have a 440 renegade TS with a 2014 60 Yamaha and 12-G fitted and just purchased a 11-G Yamaha prop from Brisbane Yamaha for bit better hole shot, haven't fitted yet.

The 13 pitch would be what I'd have thought suitable for your rig...........I ran one on my old 4.5 Bluefin and it was a good match for that hull........Currently running a 12 pitch on a Yamaha F50 on a 435 Trailcraft and it seems like a good match also.

Did you check for any numbers on the inside of the prop at the rear of the hub?

For some unknown reason some of them don't have any numbers at all.......I have a feeling that these un marked props were the ones that the motor came with from new.....Bit of a pain in the ass to do that......I know the genuine yammy prop my 60 came with from new never had any markings to go by.....if I hadn't asked the dealer I would never had know what was on it.

I've had a good look all over and no markings what so ever. I'm pretty sure it the original prop.

Yamaha props would have the numbers stamped at the base of a blade where it attaches to the hub.

Not always mate I have one here that has no numbers stamped anywhere..........it is a genuine Yamaha prop would you like photos to prove it.

    Re: Yamaha f60 prop

Might a manufacturing year scenario. Just going off the aluminium props I ran on my 2010 f60 the three props were all marked beside the blades.

Maybe mine weren't Yamaha like the dealer told me they were???

Only other marking would be a 13K somewhere. The K being used as a standard sizing stamp.

Hi Rhys, I have a 5.2m quinny king with a 2005 model 60hp 4/ yam on it, the prop is the same as what others have said, 11-1/8 x13-G, it was knocked a Around a bit so I bought a new one for $140 for my trip up north to Pennefather for two months last year, I put the new one on and with all the gear in the boat and two older fat buggers I found it was to tall its just the spare I carry now, and I run the old prop I found it better on fuel and for bar work getting out over the Noosa bar, I would love a S/S one but worried when I go north of hitting a rock bar and braking the drive shaft, Craig

    Re: Yamaha f60 prop

Mine was a 13 pitch for an f60c on a Stacer 460 sunmaster. Changed it for a 12 because I would always have 3 and some gear on board and plenty of drag from a high bimini with clears. The markings are there at the base of the blade on the hub but so hard to see sometimes because the stamping is often filled by the paint job. Just have to get it in the right light and angle.

    Cheers
