Water down the southern end is dirty but still fishable. Got 3 squire for 2 keepers on plastics this morning in 4 hours. Was talking to a fella on a Hobie who had an interesting encounter. Was playing a squire and nearly had it beat only to have it all of sudden jump clean over his net - straight down the gob of a dirty great bully. Talk about exciting - if that's the right word for it.

I think the Minister for War and Finance wants to do a family run to Tangas with friends on Sunday so probably won't get a fish in. Probably get out next week again with any luck.

Moreton bay doesn't look too bad, I had a bash yesterday with two other p.o.b. No legal size fish, gave the best rig to the son in law who had the straddic 4000 peeling drag off which he thought was a snag. I didn't think we were drifting at 15kph....
Noticed a few tuskies northern side of Peel, I think there were bigger fish there than what we were bringing in, got dusted a few times. Sand crab are still around, picked up 12 even though a late start. Much after 6am when I dropped the pots they thin out, for me anyway.
All up I think the bay is not too bad shape, should clear up quickly.
