    well kudos to the guys at that store for securing a pretty good deal it seams from garmin .... "whispers... hey garmin!? what gives?? no love for the mooster?? "

    Reading between your lines here Moose........but I have heard similar things about a certain brand not being as co-operative so to speak as other BranHDS......at looking after their distributers.......so the grape vine tells me anyway.

    hahahah yeah its ... a prickley vine... thats alright. just means i have to work extra hard on my service................or.. you know.. the fact i play amazing music in my store.. ive had people from shops nearby come in and compliment me!.. or complain? they could of been complaining come to think of it

    firstly noticed in that vid the 751 has auto hide menu bar, about time so does the Garmin 70dv have that?

    Decisions yep but what im wondering of the current black box is whether it will still be a better option as against the new Garmins coming out in a couple of months, as its chirp DV/SC , are the new all in ones chirp side scan/downview or like the Garmin 70DV….which i would probably use as just a Gps down the track and get a dedicated sounder unit…

    yeah the echomap70 range and 751 now have the autohide feature . it became available "With a bunch of other groovy stuff" in version 3.8..or 4??? software
