Fishing the Hards north to Fraser???

Gday Guys, planning a trip for the end of next week leaving Caloundra and heading north. The first stop will be the Hards area as I have fished there numerous times before and have a few marks in the area. From there I was looking to head North a bit further. I have heard of an area called "The Mud"? Is this in my imagination or is this another area like the hards? Is the deep drop thing an option up this way, never done it but keen for a try? Heading further from here, what sort of depth should I be looking in up around the DI area? Should I be concentrating more North of DI or East or South East?
I am not after your secret spot just a little advice as the Hards is as far as I have been.
I hope to be leaving Thursday morning and returning Saturday lunchtime.

I've never fished up there myself but looking at some marks I was given a while back looks like there is plenty of ground between northern hards and DI, could push wider heading NNE or make a bee-line for Indian head for what looks like good ground according to the marks.

Hey Crunchy, no mate the days of Any Weather are over, getting a bit older and wiser now.
I don't think I will venture as far as indian head, I would be on the edge of my fuel limit I think if I went that far.
lets hope that green starts turning to red soon!!!
