Ok so i am looking to kit out with a new sounder/chart plotter

$1000 to $1500 range

What are my best options

oh dear lord so many!.... like picking a good place to eat in tokyo........

7" = dragonfly 7 by raymarine, lowrance elite 7chirp, garmin echomap70dv <all come with maps
9" = wild card... the new lowrance elite9CHIRP is on special "Cant say where on here because they will give me 40 lashes." for $1500 with maps

The Lowrance HDS Gen2 are getting real cheap at the moment if you can still find them. HDS7 for about $800 at B C F. Add a card and its a pretty cheap option
