Anyone buy from Amazon.com?

I buy a lot from ebay but have never purchased anything from amazon.com.

I have my mind set on a Fishfinder (not combo) that's $550 in Australia but can buy it off amazon.com for $200 less delivered to my door.

I am interested to hear of your experience in purchasing items such as this off amazon.

Purchased from them a couple of times with no issues. However I had one time I went thru the whole process only to discover they don't delivery certain items to aust, but you can't find this out before you try and order the item.

Bought quite a few items off amazon, never a bad experience yet. Seem to be less shonks than EBay. The not delivering to Oz can be a PITA but is worthwhile checking the amazon.co.uk as quite often a similar price that will deliver.

Have used amazon a few times and always good. As already mentioned, check first if the seller ships to aus, alot of electronics merchants on amazon won't.

Look on google you can get a usa adress for them to ship to and then it is readressed to australia,Costs abit more but gets around the problem,I bought a watch that way $1100 here got it home for $460

I bought my wife's push present on Amazon. Tag huer that retailed at Wallace Bishop for 4k delivered including import duty and gst for half the price. Before I ordered it went to WB to see if they would match or reduce their price to which they laughed and said it would be a fake. I ordered and it came with all the official packaging and has since had batteries changed and service by WB and they have said it is authentic. I would by from Amazon but not sure about some of the online shops that use the Amazon page

I've used Amazon once. Ordered a box set of DVDs for the girls Christmas present. Meant to be 2 weeks, that was the start of November and I'm still waiting. I email and they just say the same thing about a back order. Not really impressed and don't think I'd order there again.
