    My trip to Kioloa

So I recently asked people on where to fish near the Ulladulla/batemans Bay Area and I got lots of response. I didn't really get to go to anywhere where anyone told me tho except one place. I haven't fished since I was about 11 (I'm now 20) and I had a chance to fish quite a lot whilst I was camping. Sadly I didn't catch much fish, I caught the small flathead in the first picture on a soft plastic off kioloa beach with soft plastics and it was my first cast of the trip so I was ecstatic, sadly that's all I caught off the beach.

I caught one small bream on a soft plastic in the lagoon that leads off from the beach, it may have just been legal, I'm really bad at placing the fish on the matt haha, then I caught a cracker 36cm bream on a hard bodied, boy did I have a great fight with that!

I then went fishing on the rocks just south of kioloa beach (I think the nickname for it is the blow hole), not much luck there, caught two (I think they were legal) black drummer, they were so much fun fighting!

That was basically all I caught the week I was there, I know it's not much, but seeing as I haven't fished for about 9-10 years, I had soooooo much fun, and I look forward to catching some cracker fish in the near future! Hopefully a charter will help me catch the fish of a life time!

    Tight lines, Justin.

Great report back nice to see you have some success, plenty of fish of a life will come your way if you keep trying as it's partly a numbers game as in the more you go the more chance s you will give yourself.
Charters are a great way to pick up knowledge on how to and when to fish and by the time you've been fishing for 30 odd years you will have had some great results that always amaze family and friends ,enjoy the fishing and always remember it's called fishing and not catching for a reason don't let the bad days put you off ,..Matt
A bad days fishing has got to be better than any day at work......
