Must have been Ivaana.
You sure thats not file footage Keith??
Photo even looks old!!LOL
Mate there was more fish in the box when we took the photo...Barries, flames etc.. when I took that pick we were just taking them out to ice down properly and get a pick with neil and mick holding up some nice flames. As you know I'd normally take a kill shot at the end when we got home but we were in a rush to get home. My daughter just returned from a month in Europe and I wanted to see her before she went to sleep so she was staying up for me.
I still had a load of fish in the freezer from the last couple of trips I've done with Jason so I just grabbed a few flames and snapper and basically hit the road when we got in after we cleaned the boat.
Just filleted some flames last night and had some for dinner....Beautiful!!!!!!!.
We also caught much of the same shit, tusks, cod, snapper, pearlies, other deep drop species that I don't know what they were.... and of course all the usual the usual vermin... spaniards, sharks, aj's, etc.
Its good fishing up there with neil. He's got the trips down pat and your in and out in no time. It was a cheap $200 trip each with no fuss. From the time we got back to the ramp till we departed from the bay was less than an hr. Not bad... put the boat on the trailer, sort the fish, clean the boat, have a shower a quick beer and hit the road. These guys do it simple and easy... I've learnt heaps from the couple trips I've done with them.
The fishing was tough with that current but we kept one guy backing back while we only fished two rods. Doable but tough!
Lets not hijack Tony's thread.....
Nah, knock yourself out mate. My report sucked anyway, & your reports are so much more fun!! LOL………….
Tony,
mate I think it's time you buy a couple electric reels and head out that little bit wider.
The grounds out from Noosa are sensational from what I can see. Once you start you'll struggling going back to fishing for hussar. Just head out to the 200 mtr line and stop on any ledge you come across. You never know what you'll pull up. We caught barries up to 22kg this trip. Get into it mate!!
Got the electrics Keith, & we aren't far from deep drop offs where we catch our RED FISH, so we will venture out a bit further next time.
A few clues on rigs mate??
