check the rego description perhaps? is there a manufactures plate?
I purchased this boat cheap as it needs a fair bit of work, I also wanted to know some details before i invest my hard earned into it.
1. What is the make? I have trawled hundreds of images trying to identify the make. The guy i bought it off said it was a nova craft huntsman but i cant find images of this anywhere. It is approx 5.8 meters long not including the pod. I was hoping boaties on here could identify it
2. I wanted to know if this boat is worth investing in? if i could identify the make i could research how it rides and its reputation.
3. If i do decide to do it up. where to start. I would have professional do all the glass work, but as for the demo I would remove all the rot to lower costs however im worried if i start hacking in and remove floor and stringers whilst on the trailer it could potentially warp the hull?

boat project are never wroth it, unless you have a workshop... your better buying 2nd hand
I am in the process of restoring a boat myself, and if you are going to pay someone to do the glass work you are not going to save any money. Fibreglassing is real easy and there is more than enough info on the net how to do it. Buy yourself a complete roll of 450csm off ebay, around $200 bucks for about 80m by 1.2 wide, this will get most of the glass work done, floor, stringers, transom etc. and buy the resin and catalyst in drums of 20kg, also around 200 bucks a drum plus 30 odd for the catalyst. I have spent about 2 grand on materials and I am nearly finished my boat. just to get the floor re-done you are looking at over 3 grand regardless of whether you take the rotted shit out first. And it almost looks like one of the Alison models.
