Upgrade time, advice needed.

Ok,

I have approval, under conditions to upgrade from my 4.45m runabout.

I'm looking at a ceiling of 35k, and hoping for new or near new (2012 at the latest).

Surtees work mate 4.85? Quintrex sea spirit 5.1?

I want something that can get offshore (out side moreton/straddie mostly) and that can handle the bay most days (within reason). I'm leaning towards a half cabin/cuddy cabin as I don't mind heading off in the freezing rain, just need some where to hide from it.

That said I'm not sold on anything yet, and if any one has a better suggestion weather it be a fiberglass, plate, poly boat as long as it can go offshore in the right weather, fish the bay it most conditions, I just want the best that money can buy.

Looks like you can get a new Surtees work mate 4.85m for around 35k on boat point.
If you add any option's watch that price grow though.

There is a nice little 2013 baysport 545 on page 4 of the used boats at brisbane yamaha for $32000 aswell.

That yalta look's like a nice boat. May need to check if if comes with a trailer as there's no mention of one.
