Pumicestone Passage at low tide in a 4m tinnie?

I've posted in the general camping section about a plan to camp the inside of Bribie in a couple of weekends time and am wondering how navigable pumicestone passage is at low tide? I thought pumicestone regulars are more likely to see this post than in the camping section. The lows that weekend are 0.6 - 0.7m. I have a 4.1m tinnie and just want to do a bit of fishing with my 10yo son but don't want to get up there to find that we can't really move around much. I presume parts of the passage will be mud/sand banks at low tide but not sure if it restricts boating very much.

    Thanks

Plenty of banks up there but most of the passage has channels that are ok at low tide. There is always somewhere to fish. The only thing you don't want to do is be up one end needing to get to the other at low tide - verrry skinny in the middle. Make sure you have a good map.

Thanks for that scottar. I don't think we'll be exploring that extensively and given the tide times we'll be heading out before low tide and coming back in on the rising tide.

What end you planning on hitting andoland? If you are up towards Coochin there are some skinny sections there that can be a challenge at low tide but as mentioned above its fairly well marked.

Thanks for the advice Funchy. I'm not a hard core fisho so I figured we'd just poke our way around wherever we could. I don't know the area so I really just wanted to check that at low tide we'll still be able to move around a bit and won't be stuck at the campground. It sounds like we should be okay.

Hi Andoland I assume you may have already gone but just be careful as there are not only some skinny areas but also aside green zones (no fishing
) and go slow zones up the southern end. I used to get around in a 4.5m without too much trouble but at times
