    Maroochy river for first time

    Hi all ..

Looking at heading up to fish the maroochy river area , mainly the bridges
    and maybe petrie,eudlo creeks .

Just wanted to no which ramp would be better
    Muller park near bli bli
Eudlo creek lions park or the one around
the corner on bradman ave .

And are the creeks safe to travel up on low tide etc .
Any help would be much appreciated

Hey mate...eudlo is pretty shallow....petrie gets shallow
afew ks up and has a few trees in the water but heaps of mullet up there...water front lake has herring and mullet....all the bridges in the area are fishing pretty good at the moment....jack in petrie...jack flathead whiting over twin waters weir....
any of the ramps are ok.....bradman av is a bit safer than the others at night....good luck

bli bli is real shallow on a low tide and you may not get to the trailer. bradman would be your best bet.

Buzzin, I have a 4.75 Quintrex and only use the ramp in Fishermans Road (Eudlo Creek ), it has sand both sides of ramp and is fine at lowest tide. Bradman has a pontoon so you have to tie ur boat up if you are by ur self.

You need to fish at dusk and into the night, almost nothing gets caught during the day this time of the year. Bring some blood worms with and get onto the huge whiting at night near Chambers Is.

    Cheers Pete

bradman ave is probably about 1.2m at low tide. bli bli is about .5. obviously it depends on the tide height. if bradmans packed go to fishermans road ramp round the corner. as gruntahunta said fishermans road has some sand to pull the boat up on.

BUZZIN , did you end up going to the maroochy?
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
