Wasn't expecting much this morning when along comes the biggest bream I think I have ever caught. He went 34 cms. Would love to get more like this.

Don't worry about it, these are pets that don't appreciate lures or plastics.
They and their kin around the pontoon are more into human food even if they are left overs.
The buggers mill around when people walk onto the pontoon but just are not into hooks. Amazing how they communicate if you do mange to hook one.
I guess if Great Whites that take off if they get the scent of one of them dead eg by Orcas; why wouldn't it work on Bream too?
What could go wrong.......................
