    New Years Day Fishing

    Hi any one know what the boat ramps Like Jacobs Well are like on New years day.Are they quiet because everone has a hangover or am i dreaming.

    In my experience..... New years day is one of the more quiet days over the Xmas break.

    Should be ok. I'd be taking crab pots if you have any, they had a 170mm of rain down their the other night should be a few muddies around.

    Have to agree, got out on Christmas Day and there were only two other boats in the water. Last time I went out New Years Day (apart from tomorrow) was a couple of years ago down at Wynnum...Quiet as could be...and the entertainment of watching the drunks staggering home on the way to the ramp was a bonus.

    Yep quiet in my experience. I have made a bit of a tradition out of going whiting fishing down the goldy on new years day. Will be doing it again tomorrow.

    Yep I will be going out although they are saying a thunderstorm and showers in the morning. So I will see what the weather is doing
