    T Top Bimini

Hi guys just after some advice, I have recently purchased my first boat a 5.3 makocraft trophy console. Which I am loving by the way. It currently has a t top Bimini installed on it but as soon as I get up going the dam thing would stop bouncing and swaying around. I think it might be a cheaper one but was just wondering if there is an easy fix to help stabilise and reduce bounce? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The easy fix is going to be 4 x removable straps.
Two going fwd, and two going aft.
at least that way you can stabilise the T-top while travelling, and undo the straps whilst fishing, when they get in your way.

looks like one of those cheap Ocean South ones, it is, nothing will strengthen it, they are made out of ultra thin tube that just wobbles around, so short of getting a custom one made, just put up with it, or try some sort of tie down strap things as suggested.

I had a similar setup, mine had stays out of ally pipe back to the top half of the console, on a 45 degree angle. They sell the clamps and bracket ends at withworths. Mine was solid as

Thanks guys might check out whitworths and see what can come up with. If I was to replace it, Is there any good prefab design or would I be better off going for a custom made job?

custom, do it once, do it right, make sure you get bits welded on to take aerials, outriggers and lights and stuff like that, makes life so much better if you have a bit of a think about it first.

The front uprights are designed to be secured to the console, giving eight anchor points to the boat. Any less than that & it will carry on like a second hand Victa, especially if you add any options like rod holders etcccc
