For uncomplicated warranty issues watersnake are superb. They arrange for courier to pick up from your home and return free of charge. With the other 2 brands you either return to your dealer and wait for them to send back ( They usually wait for rep to call as the dealer has to pay freight) or you have to take it yourself to the distributors repair centre.
Motorguide warranty is transferable minnkota is not and BLA requires a copy of original receipt for a warranty claim .If you do not have a copy they say to go back to your purchase point who will provide a copy. Bit hard when the seller has gone bust.

watersnake are crap....got to love someone who designs a motor for a boat then doesnt make them water proof so every time it rains the head fills with water and stops working....mine been broken 4 times in 18 months....twice with in 12 months well the first one i had didnt even work out of the box so i got a new one after they tried to fix it but wouldnt even swap me a new one till they tried to fix it ....wireless no longer works because its so corroded in the head ....
