    best transducer type/position for a HH 680sf

I have recently purchased a 1995 HH 680sf and am going to install a new furuno 585 and am wondering if anyone has this set up and can advise on the best type and positon of transducer? My goal is to have a decent reading at cruise, which i am guessing will be around the 55-60km/h range. From what i can gather, a 1 kw wet box set up would be optimal but i want to make certain as i had a lot of transducer problems on my last rig.

1kw 20 Degree Tilted element, your hull is too thick for the wetbox 1kw

is the 20 degree tilt to offset the deadrise on the hull? I'm curious because the stern where the transducer will be mounted is considerably less than 20 degrees.
