Cooyar creek/ted pukallus weir

Hi,

I am heading up to my parents at Yarraman around Christmas and I want to pack the rod and have a flick for some bass. I know above the weir it's a stocked impoundment, just wanting to know if anyone has success around the weir or below it. whats the best set up for bass? I'm normally an estuary fisher.

Or would we be better taking the tinny to Bjelke-Petersen Dam for a bit of a run around?

you would have better luck taking tinnie to BJ dam.
