I was out in the bay yesterday and have just fitted a Downvision module to Raymarine setup. Managed to take some good shots around the bay - really dows give you a new level of clarity.
This first shot was taken at one of the tripod beacons at the four beacons showing bait balls around one of the legs. I really helped as the bait was holding very tightly on one leg and you could drop right on top of them. The bright blobs higher up I suspect were Schoolies patrolling the beacon. They stole quite a few livies on the way up
This was a big school of Macks swimming past - not wonder the bait is on the bottom
