GT's at Inskip?

Hey guys,

I'm looking hitting up Inskip Point in my kayak, has anyone had any luck with GT's in the channel? particularly on the surface?

Never targeted them specifically inside the channel but have got a few around Double Island Point Headland. The current really rips through that channel, I have no idea what you paddle but I suspect it will be no match for the speed of the current, it might pay to keep this in mind.

A friend has caught them from the beach at inskip with live whiting

yep they will take live whitting off the beach inside the channel, but its mainly goldens you get diong this..

The area holds good Goldens but only smaller GTS and other Trevally. At times the area fishes well for Macks and Tuna. If you work the tides you can cover a lot of ground in a Yak but keep an eye on your position close to the bar on a run out tide
