Boat Transport-Brisbane to Townsviile

Hi All,

I am helping my step brother who lives in Townsville look for a good quality used side console in thee 4.5-5m range, and my question is would anybody know an approximate cost of having a boat of this size transported from Brisbane to Townsville and the name of a company who may do this.?

Hi Scott,
I had a 12 ft boat sent up last year from Brizzy to Townsville which cost me $700, expensive but it came up undamaged. Try NQ boat haulage located just north of Black River.

Looked into doing this a few years ago for transporting a boat from perth to brisbane and the cost was prohibitive, so I ended up driving across and stopping in a couple of places along the way. Even with fuel and accom it was about a third of the price. Maybe you could drive it up, see your brother and do some fishing.
