The place is a car park everyday of the week, surely putting it somewhere away from the crowds would make more sense and take some pressure off there and other sites that now cop a hammering..
So much bay without any structure is there really a need to have it all in just a few locations, seems silly to me.
Yes i thought it would have been better to add to the Curtian Reef or start another Reef around the northen part of the bay.
Couldnt have that, might make somewhere else to catch a fish! Upset the greenies!
Can't really add to the Cutin coz it's owned by a Dive Club (I used to be a member). Frank Curtin gifted the ocean bottom there to them. Every wreck there was sunk by the club. In the old days they just did it themselves with gelignite but later on as we got more "civilized" it was done by pros. (Who actually had more accidents than when the club did it). They DO have a big plane donated by the air-force located at Archerfield that's going to be added but it's a nightmare to get it out there as the Iroquois helicopters that were going to drop it, can't fly over land with it so they have to follow the river. And the air-force insurance covers them till they drop it, but as it sinks they don't. So an hour's worth of insurance for THAT is stupidly dear too.
There's a half assembled caribou at Brisbane airport just rotting away too. 2 for 1 deal? I know they'd like an easy solution for getting rid of it.

Take some pressure off some of these other areas and create new wreck sites as well as adding to existing sites that need it!
I am sure there are lots of items that could be utilised if the government actually cared enough to investigate..
But as usual its more about the "take take take", now the election is over and they have peoples votes :/
