    Navionics

Is it possible with navionics and a simrad nss evo to get the green zones , maybe shaded? I'm finding it hard to differentiate which is a green zone

    Re: Navionics

I suggest email navionics or put in on their FB page. I have many times and so have many others. I even took a photo of my over ten yo navman plotter and cmap c card that has the zones coloured correctly and asked the question why they can't do such a simple thing.
Initially had good response from navionics. But have had no response since I provided pictures etc of what I was talking about. Maybe it is time to bug them again!!!

Totally agree. You'd think it would be a no brainer. If they did it I would buy a new card. Surely so would many others. Damn sight cheaper than the potential fine.

Here's a tip! If you have an iPhone or iPad you can download an app called Marine Zones. It tells you exactly what's Marine National Park, what parts are a Conservation Park & Sandy Bay all three areas are shaded to differentiate between them.

only problem there is , better if your looking at the gps /chartplotter and seeing where you are exactly . just cant figure if this is available why cant navionics , I have the platinum and it actually says somewhere that they do the green zones , they just need to be able to be highlighted or even be able to change the colour of the boundaries as theirs lots of lines and they get confusing

I have the same system and if you turn your "fish and chippy" setting to OFF the green zones will be marked.

yes lethal but extremely poorly. There's other lines as well so hard to differentiate green zones to other lines , I find, ther should be a feature wher you can lightly shade the green zones, I have a simrad evo2 nss 12
    cheers pat
