Your lucky, they're so much cheaper up there, I can't find anything in Melbourne for that price. My last motor was a Honda 90 and many people warned me about corrosion, I owned it for 12 years and there was never an issue.
Congratulations! The same layout/deck as the renegade but different hull, sounds like a good deal you got.
I took the new 440 out in 15kt winds on Port Phillip for it's maiden voyage and it did surprisingly well in the chop, it had quite a soft ride (better IMO than my much larger Trailcraft), we also stayed dry and it was reasonably stable at anchor, even with two blokes leaning over the side so I'm pleased with it. Oh, and also christened the boat with a nice Snapper on the first trip to so she's been blooded!
