Lowrance HDS news coming out on November 17th with price reductions as well.
1. Gen 3 releases in December
2. New units will be both keypad and touch
3. Chirp built in
4. Wifi 6. Bluetooth
5. Faster processors
Sounds good to me! I expect there will be some great run-out deals aroind on the current models too.

navico work on a 12month cycle..give or take. where ever 12 months either a new model or major upgrade,addon is released... and thats good. in the sense that when you buy that system its fresh and new. also means its obsolete pretty quick sticks.
garmin work on a 3 year cycle, where every 3 years a new model is released "ish" so when they have a model out on the shelves they have to design it to compete not only with whats for sale now but what is likley to be available in 3 years time. as a result. the current gen of gpsmap series units are crazy packed full of goodness "interms of processing speed and features"
so........if you have some clams that you need to unload and you want a very good 7" system. the 751 is tip top

i am going to new zealand for the dealer conference in march.. id say they will announce new units in april for a may/june release... much like this year with the EVO2 simrad range.
