    Saturday Flathead Flick

Got out Saturday for a pre classic flick with my brother.

Had a great day with the weather and the fish (some of them) playing along.

Got a dozen or so with one undersize. The biggest going 63cm. All caught on soft plastics with a large variety of lures and colours used. No standout lures.

Forgot to charge the camera so no proof, you'll have to take my word.

Hopefully the fishing continues to get better for the classic, good luck to all involved

Not trying to be smart FunchyWayno but we got them everywhere. we fished where it looked fishy, stayed for 10 to 20 minutes if we got any, make a mental note if not go to the next spot.
All I can tell you is we started mid broadwater and fished to Jumpinpin.
I know it sounds like I don't want to give anything away but it was a tough tide for flatty (in my opinion) fishing the incoming. We just looked for drop offs, weed beds etc.
Tides are better in the classic so hopefully the weather holds out and we can get some fish.
Sorry for the least specific thread in history
    See you down there

    Hey Mike

Really appreciate that info mate, I was very tongue in cheek with my question. I have spent a fair bit of time on google maps/ earth looking for likely spots and like you say there are plenty of spots to try out in that area.

We need to catch up for a beer during the classic mate and good luck with it all.
