I remember in 1979 my girl friends father bought a brand new 635L fitted up with a brand new 235 hp Evinrude. Don't know the real performance figures on it (no gps) but heading down the Brisbane River with that V6 singing was a great feeling. Sorta made my 12 foot Clark Cutter with 15 hp of Johnson feel pretty boring.

I don't think you could go wrong with either a 200 or a 225.

i have a 1974 213c and the spec on the well said max hp was 300. I have just powered a 225 zuke.
