    Haines 213c Spec Questions

    Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there is anyone who could point me in the right direction for the following:

    - What are the dimensions? Length, Width, Weight etc.
    - What is the Hulls Max H.P?
    - What is the Max weight of the outboard allowable??

    Thanks guys.

Emailed Haines Hunter and was responded with a "We do not keep specifications of this model".

For such an old classic boat manufacturer that surprised me a little.

Cruise Craft have downloadable original brochures of all their models ever made. Must save them a lot of enquiries like yours. Interesting reading too

Perhaps try emailing Haines Signature as the Haines family might still have the details.

Jeff Webster's magazines might have it.

Don't know how accurate this is or if it is any use to you. Copied and pasted.

The 635L shares the same hull as the 213C, specs 6.43m and 1100kg's, 22,5 deg deadrise. Built 78 to 93. Early models were inboards and the latter models were outboards, common belief is the inboard was the better boat in terms of handling and stability....someone else can comment from experience, they are the basic stats....

Hi Mustang, Centreline length = 6.6 metres. Maximum beam 2.43 = metres. Weight = 1224kg. Outboard capacity = 300 hp. Sterndrive capacity = 300hp. The original brochure I have (1978) does not list maximum engine weight.

    Re: Haines 213c Spec Questions

I vouch for the 213c and the 635L because my old man has had one of each. The older stern drive models of the 213c where one of the best riding boats, we now have a 635L with a transom outboard. Whilst it still performs well, the 213c is far superior in the ruff stuff. Mind you our 635L with a 200 on it does 50mph so it's no slouch when its calm. Comes in at 2080kg fully loaded with 200l of fuel.

My Glass's marine guide from Summer 81 states:

    6.35m long, 2.43 wide, 1224kg, hp to 300.

I would have thought the factory brochure more reliable though?
