Soda blasting advice??
Fellas,
I've just started a reno on a 5 meter 2006 AMM platey and i'm looking at removing all the paint from the top of the gunwales and the transom. My intention is not to repaint so was considering soda blasting to leave a nice fine finish. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this method of paint removal, what it costs and any recommendations for firms who are good and reasonably priced?
considered paint stripper but not sure if that would do any damage to 5083 alloy?
thanks in advance

If your not going to paint it again i would avoid all blasting, as sanding and paint stripper is much more cost effective and wont leave you with a very eroded surface.
just my opinion as i have restored many painted alloy hulls before.
