    what is this this

    caught one of these today ,the book said blackfinned slatey is that the same as a happy moment ?I know chinese eat them I didn't thoughblackfin slatey.jpg

    That's a blackball, mother in law fish, mowong or slatey bream depending on where you are. It's not a happy moment. Some people eat them others won't.

    Not the same as a happy moment dude, look in the book again for black spinefoot(happy moment) i think there called.

    Looks like a Netted Morwong to me. Slatey Bream dont have the lines running along the body as that one has. Edible, but only just...
