Can anyone ID this fish (moreton bay), can you use them for snapper bait?
Whip tail by the looks of it. A great bait for cobia and long tails in the bay.

Know a mate who kept a few and said they tasted like whiting, we use them for flesh bait offshore and know we have drifted off the reef and onto sand if we catch them.
