Hook inside fish

When i cut this fish up i found this hook
inside of it
Just sitting there
Never seen anything like it before
its must have swallowed the hook and it came out of its stomach
and well you can see ?
Um its a Sliver Jewfish free to catch and keep (not an under size Jew Mulloway) see

nice ,I caught a coda about 6kg once that hade half passed a 8/0 hook out its blurter.dont know time frame as hook was in goodnick

I caught a spanyid with small red hook in its guts, I have heard people say they rust away pretty quickly I'm not sure I would like to try one.

Caught a tailor last night on gang hook that a red long shank hook.

I have lost count of the amount of mulloway I have caught with hooks stuck in their fins etc...The one that got away!!
Mostly bream and small whiting hooks...
Did catch the odd murray cod out west with lengths of heavy mono sticking out of their gobs.
A lot of them survive okay despite their handicap...

Ive gotten 2 jacks with hooks comeing out there ass 1 was polished from rubbing on the bottom thats how i saw it and 1 stainless 5/0 was down at the ass and covered in a coating from the gut i thought it was a crab leg. Attachment 104075

caught a bream once with only some heavy mono stick out it's ass, no idea where the hook was or went.

Just out of interest here's a story for you guys I was having a spin for Tailor at Burleigh one day

Met an experienced spearo there he had 4 nice Tailor in his bag and mentioned the biggest one he ever shot there was over 1 mt long , weighed like 13 + pounds (big rangey male) and had x 6 different rigs and lures hanging from it's mouth

Would have made an interesting site an extremely long Tailor dolled up with a heap of jewlry
